When you interact with Super Rad Retro Lounge — whether visiting our website, signing up for our newsletter, joining Super Rad Rewards, or contacting us — we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, and any other details you voluntarily provide.

SMS / Text Messaging
When you join Super Rad Rewards, we collect your phone number to send membership-related text messages including: two-factor login verification codes, welcome confirmations, monthly token reset notifications, perk and token redemption confirmations, referral bonus alerts, birthday greetings, and occasional promotional offers for members who have separately opted in.
Opt-in occurs only when you affirmatively check the SMS consent box on our signup form at rewards.superradretrolounge.com/signup or on an in-store staff tablet. Consent is optional and is not a condition of membership, purchase, or use of our services.
Message frequency varies based on account activity — up to approximately 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile opt-in information, phone numbers, and any related data collected through our SMS program are not shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose, including marketing. Phone numbers are stored securely and used solely to deliver Super Rad Rewards account notifications you have opted in to receive.

Email Communications
When you sign up for Super Rad Rewards, subscribe to our newsletter via the website footer, or are added as a contact through one of our integrated forms or partner sources, we collect your email address to send marketing communications including: event announcements, monthly specials, tournament invitations, new game and drink updates, member-only perks, and occasional promotional offers.
Email opt-in occurs when you (a) submit your email through any signup form on our websites at superradretrolounge.com or rewards.superradretrolounge.com, (b) provide your email at the venue or during a tournament, or (c) join our list through one of our partner platforms with your express consent. Consent is optional and is not a condition of membership, purchase, or use of our services.
Email frequency typically ranges from one to four messages per month. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer and supports the standard List-Unsubscribe header so your email client (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook) can remove you from our list with a single click. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing steve@superradretrolounge.com with the subject "Unsubscribe."
Email addresses and any related contact data collected through our marketing program are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing. We use SendGrid (a Twilio company) as our email service provider; SendGrid processes our outbound email under their own privacy and security commitments. Transactional messages — such as login codes, payment receipts, password resets, and account notifications — are sent regardless of marketing opt-in status because they are required to operate your account.
Once you unsubscribe, your email is added to our suppression list and you will not receive further marketing communications. We retain a record of the unsubscribe to honor your request and prevent re-subscription without your explicit consent.
Mobile App Permissions
Our Super Rad Rewards mobile app (iOS and Android) requests the following device permissions to provide core functionality:
- Camera — used solely to scan QR codes for member check-in, perk redemption, and friend referrals at the venue. The camera feed is processed entirely on your device; no photos, videos, or live camera data are transmitted to our servers or stored. The permission is requested only when you actively open a scanner screen, and you can deny or revoke it in your device settings without affecting the rest of the app.
- Notifications — used to send membership-related push notifications (token resets, redemption confirmations, event invitations) you have opted in to receive. You can disable notifications at any time via your device settings.
- Storage — used to cache app assets and your locally generated rewards QR code for faster offline access. No personal files are read.
- Vibration — used to provide haptic feedback on QR scan success.
- Internet — required for the app to communicate with our servers to load your rewards balance, perks, and account information.
We do not access your contacts, location, microphone, calendar, photo library, or any other personal data on your device. Camera and notification permissions can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
Cookies & Analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience and collect anonymous usage data. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services (such as Firebase, Stripe, Twilio, and EmailJS) to operate our website, process payments, send communications, and manage memberships. These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your data.
