About the Pro Series
The Air Hockey Pro Series is the championship event for Super Rad's competitive air hockey scene. Twelve players have been split into two fields. Six start in the losers bracket and fight through a Friday night round robin for the two remaining spots in the finals. Six have already earned their place in the winners bracket. On Saturday morning, eight players go into a double elimination bracket, every match best of five, until one player is left standing.
Both days are played on Super Rad's competition-grade air hockey tables at 106 Glenwood Ave in Raleigh. Grab a drink, pull up a seat, and watch some of the fastest hands in North Carolina go to work.

How It Works
Friday: Losers Bracket Round Robin
- Each of the six players faces each of the other five players three times, for fifteen games per player.
- Every game counts the same. The standings are simply total wins.
- There are no tiebreaker stats like goal differential or head-to-head record. If two or more players are tied for a qualifying spot, they play a direct game against each other to settle it.
- The two players with the most wins move on to Saturday's winners bracket. Everyone else is eliminated.
Saturday: Winners Bracket Double Elimination
- Eight players enter: the six who qualified directly plus the two who advanced from Friday.
- Lose once and you drop into the elimination side of the bracket. Lose twice and you are out.
- Every match, from the first round through the grand finals, is best of five games.
- Play continues until a single champion remains.
